So I've had a very busy spring so far. May is busy every year, but I feel like it gets busier each year. May is full of birthday's: my best friend Karly in Texas, my mom, Gib's dad, my dad, my Grandpa, Karla, Teri Jo, more friends and extended family, and of course at the end of the month is my husband Gib's 33rd b-day. We also have Mother's Day and Tulip Festival. But the biggest days of the month are May 7 the day I opened my office (two years ago) and May 8 (the day Gib proposed to me (two years ago). We will be celebrating Gib's birthday early this year. We are taking a trip to Scottsdale Arizona the 23rd through the 28th (with our neighbors Dave and Lisa). During that time Gib's dad will be coming up to see us for a day and we will be going to the Grand Canyon. Other than that we are just going to enjoy being away from the hustle bustle of everyday life.
May started off with me volunteering to help the Tea Police Department do their annual Bike Safety Event. I love helping with this, but it made for a long day since the Jaycee's had our annual Sandbox Fill on the same day. Needless to say we got through both. And then the next day we had the Pitch, Hit, and Run event with the Jaycee's too. It turned out to be a beautiful weekend, so that made it more enjoyable.

My dad also came up to Sioux Falls to ride the bike trails one weekend which was awesome. It was a beautiful day again. We rode all the way down to Falls Park. Along the way we saw lots of baby geese. My nephew Austin loves to watch the ducks and geese.

We also had a guest at our house for a week. Our best friend Heath had to take his daughter to a specialty clinic so we babysat Kylie's baby Jack Russell Terrier (15 weeks old) named Carl. Carl definitely liked to snuggle up by Gib. But he did a very good job listening to me when it was time to eat and go potty. Carl was very excited to see Kylie come home!
